Janka Valeková

- graduated from the Secondary School of Pedagogy in Turčianske Teplice where she successfully passed final exams focused on fine arts. -as a graduate, she started to work as a pre-school teacher in the kindergarten. Since then, from the professional viewpoint as well as from the viewpoint of hobby, in her heart of hearts Janka is all interested in fine arts. She has already tried different creative art techniques such as aquarelle or watercolour painting, pastel as a dry medium, oil painting, collage, graphics, etc.

Since 2001, as an entrepreneur, Janka has been improving her personal art gifts and skills via applied art. She has focused on clothing, costume design, decorative arts, interior design as well as paintings. In her present-day works, there are especially works which are characterized as modern reliefs created thanks to the substance which is layered and consequently painted and coloured.

Janka`s works were presented as parts of the art exhibitions named Inšpirácie 2005, 2006 (Inspirations 2005, 2006) and thanks to the independent art exhibitions in Hotel Severan (2005/2006) and Svitanie 2007 (Dawn 2007) in Dolný Kubín. Her works enhance City Hotel Park in Dolný Kubín, Hotel Danubia Gate as well as some private family hotels and a myriad of modern houses.
